The Standard Residences, located at 690 SW 1st Avenue (entering from SW 7th St), is a 45-story residential tower that marks the second standalone residential project for The Standard Hotels brand. Developed by Newgard Development Group and Two Roads Development and designed by Arquitectonica, the project brings the brand’s signature “laid-back, social energy” to a vertical urban setting.
As of March 2026, the project is in a high-intensity vertical construction phase. After securing a major capital injection in late 2025, the tower is currently rising toward its top-off, scheduled for later in 2026. The building is tracking for a late 2027 completion, with final delivery and occupancy expected to begin in Q4 2027 to early 2028.
