Five Park

Five Park represents a landmark transformation of the South Beach skyline, standing as the district’s tallest residential tower at 48 stories (519 feet). Developed by Terra Group in partnership with GFO Investments, and designed by the world-renowned firm Arquitectonica, this elliptical glass tower serves as the gateway to Miami Beach at the entrance of the MacArthur Causeway. Completed in 2024, Five Park is the centerpiece of a meticulously planned seven-acre campus that includes the three-acre Canopy Park and the Canopy Bridge, an artistic pedestrian bridge designed by Daniel Buren that connects the tower directly to the prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood.

The building features an ultra-exclusive collection of 98 “Canopy” residences (floors 27-48) and approximately 180 “Park” residences on lower levels. Designed with an emphasis on 360-degree vistas, the residences offer floor-to-ceiling glass and 10-foot-deep balconies that capture unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. With interiors curated by Gabellini Sheppard Associates, Five Park integrates natural textures and noble materials like Italian oak and stone to create a residential experience that is both architecturally commanding and experientially layered.

Project Overview and Developer Vision

The vision for Five Park is rooted in “Vertical Community.” Terra CEO David Martin sought to create a site that functions as a civic asset, blending high-density luxury with extensive public green space. The tower’s elliptical form is not only a sculptural choice but an engineering one, designed to minimize wind resistance and maximize perimeter views for every unit.

Below the tower, Canopy Park offers a botanical oasis featuring a MONSTRUM playground, an outdoor gym, a dog park, and shaded gardens. This integration of a private luxury tower with a public ecological park reflects a commitment to biophilic urbanism. The building’s amenities are spread across multiple levels, including the exclusive Canopy Club on the 26th floor, ensuring that residents have a private sanctuary for wellness and social interaction above the vibrant energy of Alton Road.
